This App is based on the Prayers andThanksgivings chapter in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer (EpiscopalChurch) beginning on page 809. The purpose of the App is to provideeasy access to more than 120 Prayers and Thankgivings availableusing a simple to use interface. Also included is the Prayers ofthe People (Forms I through VI) normally found on page 383 of the1979 Book of Common Prayer (Episcopal Church). Based on the Book by Jay Duque, this app aims to help everybeliever know how to pray, know what to pray for, and prayaccording to the will of God. This app contains 365 days ofprayers. Each day has a different content direct from the Word ofGod. You may use these prayers for your children, grandchildren,relatives and friends at the start of each day. They may be closeto you or at a distance, but the power of prayer will reach themand will never cease to impact them. You may also use this app as apersonal daily devotional while praying God's Will for your ownlife and situation.

This App is based upon the 1979 Book of Common Prayer (BCP -Episcopal Church) and the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL). Thepurpose of the App is to provide the complete Year A, B, and CSunday Lectionary scriptures that are normally only listed by theirpassages. In the past, the reader would look up the passages in theBook of Common Prayer for the applicable Year and date. Next theywould individually open their Bible to the passage to obtain thereading. By having the readings in the app database saves thereader from having to look these scriptures up. The database andsupporting algorithms also provide a perpetual yearly calendar forall Sunday readings (forever). To select the Revised CommonLectionary (RCL), click the Settings button, then slide the switchfrom BCP to RCL in the top right corner of the Settings display.You will need to close and reopen to app after changing theLectionary setting.
